About the event
Join us for a family outing at Target Field for the July 7th Twins game.
Sundays are kids days which means meal deals and base running following the 1:10 game. The first 5000 kids 12 and under will receive a replica Joe Ryan jersey at the gate.
Tickets are in Legends Landing-Section S along the third base line and the price includes unlimited food and non-alcoholic beverages from the concessions directly behind the section.
Below you will find some important information about our game day and Target Field in general.
Getting to the game:
- For detailed information about getting to Target Field, visit: www.twinsbaseball.com/transportation
- Parking--There are several options for parking in downtown Minneapolis, including Ramps A, B, and C adjacent to Target Field, as well as many ramps (at lower rates) in downtown Minneapolis within walking distance of the field. Many ramps (A, B, and C included) will allow you to pre-pay and reserve space in their ramp.
- Light Rail--If you’d like to take the light rail, there are two park and ride lots: one on 28th Ave, near Mall of America, and one at Fort Snelling Station. Both are for the Blue Line which ends right at Target Field. Both the Blue and Green lines end at Target Field near Gate 6. You can get an entire day event pass for around $5 and anyone with a law enforcement ID rides for FREE! Just show the ID if you are asked to show a ticket.
- Drop off zones for guests with mobility issues can be found along 7th Street, near both the Majestic Clubhouse Store and Gate 14. No permit is required to use this Drop Off Zone, but this is strictly a drop off zone, with no parking permitted in this zone. Recommended parking for persons with disabilities is in the handicapped spaces in either the A Ramp or B Ramp. Both facilities have direct connections to Target Plaza and Target Field.
Bringing kids?
- Children less than 30" in height do not require a ticket, provided they are sitting on the lap of an adult with a valid ticket.
- Sundays are kid’s day! See all the perks below:
- Photos with T.C.--Twins mascot T.C. is available for photos at the 3rd inning of every game by T.C.'s Clubhouse, located on the club level by section 229 and available to Twins fans 48" tall and under.
- Run the Bases--Kids 12 and under can run the bases post-game every Sunday. You will go down the ramp behind sections 128/129 to enter the field.
What can I bring in?
- Bags- Target Field requires that all bags be single compartment with a maximum size of 16”x16”x8”. Bags 9”x5” or smaller qualify for no-bag “Express” Lanes at each gate. Multi-compartment bags such as backpacks, duffle bags, and laptop/camera bags are not allowed, with the exception of those used for ADA/medical/nursing reasons, or used as a diaper bag, as long as they meet the maximum size requirements. For the safety and security of all guests, all bags will be searched prior to entering Target Field.
- Coolers - Soft-sided containers 16"x16"x8" or smaller are permitted into Target Field. Coolers and bags of any size with hard sides are not allowed in the ballpark.
- Beverages - Sealed, bottled water 32 oz. or less, and soft sided single juice or milk containers for children are the only outside beverages permitted into Target Field. Guests may bring liquids required for legitimate medical purposes into Target Field. Guests may also bring in empty water bottles and fill them at any water fountain within the ballpark.
- Food - The Minnesota Twins permit guests to bring food into Target Field as long as items are consumed in the general seating areas (food cannot be brought into any Target Field restaurant, lounge or suite). Food that could be thrown as a projectile should be sliced or sectioned (i.e. apples)
- Banners and Signs - The Twins welcome support as demonstrated by homemade signs and banners. Banners and signs may not contain advertising or carry disparaging or obscene messages; they may not cover any scoreboards, railings, existing advertising or LED boards; banners and signs may not be placed in the direct sightline of the batter and/or infringe on the sightlines of other guests during play. The Twins request that all banners and signs pertain to the Twins or baseball, and reserve the right to permit or remove any sign or banner from Target Field.
Miscellaneous
- Firearms: The Minnesota Twins prohibit firearms from being carried into Target Field, even for guests with valid conceal-and-carry permits. The only exception to this policy is for licensed Public Law Enforcement officials. Law Enforcement will be required to check-in with HCSO at the gates and present valid Law Enforcement credentials.
- Guest Service Centers: The Guest Service Centers are located near sections 113 and 204. They offer a wide variety of services and items including ALDs (assistive listening devices), wheelchair service to and from seats, stroller drop off/storage, lost and found, Target Field and public relations information, Twins publications, and convenience items (i.e. sunscreen, diapers, band-aids, etc). These Centers also serve as the location for reporting lost guests, and answering guest pages during the course of the game. The Guest Service Centers also provide mothers with semi-private accommodations for nursing.
- Sensory Suite: Located on the UnitedHealthcare Suite Level, the former “Suite 1” provides a welcoming, compatible environment in which neuroatypical guests may find temporary respite, if needed, during the game.
- MLB Ballpark App: The free MLB Ballpark app, along with Target Field’s free WiFi, is your mobile companion when visiting Target Field and features interactive park maps, concession menu, contactless payment with Twins Pay, mobile games and more. Available in the AppStore and Google Play.
- Foul Balls: Our section is within foul ball territory, so it is important to remain alert for balls that could be heading toward your seat. Guests are welcome to keep any foul ball or home run ball hit into the stands as long as they do not interfere with the safety and comfort of others.
- First Aid: Guests requiring first-aid are urged to immediately contact any member of the Guest Service Staff. Trained medical personnel are on duty for all events to assist guests. First Aid Stations are located near section 112 and section 216.
- Welcome Message: All groups are welcomed to Target Field on the main video board and the right field video board. The message typically appears in the 4th inning and they are listed in alphabetical order by group name.
